Before creating my film poster I analyzed the posters from some films such as “Shutter Island”. I focused on learning the codes and conventions used for both thriller and horror posters. I decided to inspire myself with posters that have a similar theme to mine or have a similar front-page photo. I wanted to see the layout and the color scheme typically used. Here are a wide variety of posters I was inspired by to create y own. The one of RED RIDDING HOOD was the one I most like, therefore I decided to used an image in which you can appreciate the red clothes of the girl and the red title of the film. The photograph I have used is horizontal because I wanted to emphasize the line of tall pine trees on the sides. If I turned it horizontal, the image would not have been that powerful.
