I researched about the type of music used in horror movies. I want my movie to pull the audience into what the characters are feeling during those scary moments on screen. I will do this by using a soundtrack which creates uneasy feelings. I want the music to represent the common binary oppositions of consonance vs. dissonance and pleasant vs. unpleasant. To choose the perfect song for my film opening, I created a spotify playlist with a variety of horror songs. The soundtrack I will use for my film opening will be from this playlist.
