I have used a Nikon D610 camera to film most of my music videos and take the photos for both my digipak and social media. I decided to use a camera instead of a phone as it can capture high-quality footage and contains advanced features such as high resolution, high frame rates, and low-light capabilities, which can result in stunning visuals. Throughout the shoot, this camera offered me flexibility in terms of filming angles and perspectives. It can be mounted on a tripod, or used handheld , which allows me to create creative shots that can add visual interest. I already owned this camera and had previously used it in the past. This means I did not have to invest in it and already knew its functions and availability of tools. It is not a new and innovative model in the industry, however it produces good quality shots which could be used for professional-grade music videos. The Nikon D610 has a long battery life and can record for long periods of time without overheating, allowing me to film a wide variety of shots every day. This reduces the need for frequent battery changes. It also has advantages in the post-production face as I shot all of the videos in a RAW format. This means that all of the scenes are more flexible in relation to  colour grading and editing, helping enhance the overall look and feel of the music video.
